My name is Josh and that is pretty awesome. I live in Cullman, Alabama where I have been for all my 22 years. I am striving to be an example of what a Christian should be, even though I have a ways to go. God will mold me into the man He wants me to be and I will LIKE IT~! Anywho, I'll blog about different things that perk my interest, such as Christianity, Wrestling, Life, Facebook drama, and yeah a bunch of stuff. Peace, love, and God bless~!

Dad

I’ve decided to put this on here because I thought it would be too long to put on Facebook.

At this point Dad is not going to get better, lest a miracle from Jesus happens. His cortex (part of his brain that controls his voluntart reflexes, memories, personality, and his being) was irreverseably damaged by the lack of oxygen he suffered during his heart attack. He has a 61% chance he will stay the way he is right now, a 21% chance he can recover but would need round the clock care as he would be unable to, and an 18% chance he can recover and need only medium support to live. Through all this though, his body is the only thing that can be kept alive. Clayburn Baker, my daddy, will not be there. He has also suffered seizures in his brain since the heart attack that is only making things worse. After all these options, myself, my sisters and Dad’s family have decided to make him a DNR and to move him to Palliative Care, to keep him comfortable until he does pass. We have also decided that since there is a chance he can breathe without the ventillator that we are removing the breathing tube before he is transferred to Palliative Care. There’s a chance he can breathe without the tube and will be transferred to Palliative Care in the morning and there’s a chance he will be unable to and will pass away today. This week has been more difficult than I care to remember but I and the rest of Dad’s family know that this is what he would want. He has told us this before so we are sure of this. I appreciate all the prayers and everything that everyone has done and so has my family. I will update everyone when I can. Love and God bless.

Josh.
